This field has a variety of coatings such as metallic coatings, various alloys, ceramic coatings, cermet, polyester oxide (or their combination), all in accordance with the strict specifications of the manufacturers.(PWA, GE, Allison, Allied Signal / Honeywell).

Refurbishment of assemblies in the coatings division of Mets includes a complete array of complementary repair processes for coatings. Part of this process includes machining and milling of the coating, TIG welding and electron beam machining, heat treatment, painting and computerized 3D inspection. The division is certified by the Israeli Air Force, Aerospace Industry and the CAAI organization.
